It has been a busy, busy week for the Minnesota Lynx, bringing their 2015 regular season to an end and welcoming playoff basketball, once again, to Minnesota; Lynx fans are pretty pumped about that.

The Lynx, despite closing their season losing two of their final three games, clinched the top seed in the Western Conference and the overall second-best record in the league at 22-12, just a game behind the New York Liberty who defeated Minnesota both times they faced each other this season, including a 75-71 win last Sunday night; the Lynx bounced back though.

Last Tuesday night Minnesota faced off against the Seattle Storm with a chance to clinch the top seed in the Western Conference. After racing to an 18-point lead, the Lynx surrendered such a lead, letting it slip to just a single point before forward Maya Moore slammed the door on the comeback attempt and guided the Lynx to a 73-67 victory.

To close their season the Lynx headed to Seattle to take on the Storm once again, this time falling short in their own comeback attempt and suffering a 78-64 loss (though the loss in no way altered Minnesota’s position in the standings). It is now time for playoff basketball; that feels really good to say.

The Lynx will kick-off their playoff run on Friday night at Target Center as they play host to the always dangerous Los Angeles Sparks. It’s no secret that Lynx fans are fired up and ready for the series to start and many fans have taken to Twitter to express such enthusiasm. So, since it is Tuesday, I grabbed the best tweets and present them to you here in a little thing we like to call, Top Tweet Tuesday.
