It is Tuesday once again Lynx fans, which means I have to scour the deepest and darkest corners of the Twittersphere to find the best, and only the best, Lynx tweets from the previous week. The search was long but I managed to find the very best tweets, and I now have the pleasure of sharing them with you now. First, let’s catch up on this last week.
Last Tuesday, the Lynx went to Los Angeles and knocked off the Sparks 67-52. It gets better. Last Wednesday, the Lynx and Timberwolves hosted a grand opening of their brand new practice facility, The Courts at Mayo Clinic Square, and WNBA President Laurel Richie, as well as NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, were in attendance. It gets even better. Last Friday night the Lynx were in San Antonio and they defeated the Stars by a score of 74-59. Uhhh now it gets bad. On Sunday night, the Tulsa Shock came to Target Center and, despite the roaring of the incredible Lynx fans, managed to hand the Lynx their second loss of the year, winning 86-78. The Lynx now sit at 5-2 on the season, good for second-best in the Western Conference just one game behind Tulsa.
With so much excitement and drama, not to mention multiple games, Lynx fans took to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the team, the players and the games in this week’s edition of “Top Tweets Tuesday.” Remember fans, if you want to see your tweet featured here next week, just throw #lynx or #loslynx at the end of your Lynx tweet and you could see your tweet chosen as one of the best. Also, don’t forget to fill out your ballot for the WNBA All-Star Game. Let’s make sure the Lynx are well represented in Connecticut.
