The Minnesota Lynx are having a good week. They returned from the All-Star Break and have been winning ever since. They opened the second half of the season with an 82-76 win over the Los Angeles Sparks then followed that up with an 86-70 victory over the Atlanta Dream. To finish their week, the Lynx went to Tulsa to take on the Shock and came away victorious, winning 86-80. To make the week even better, forward Maya Moore was named Western Conference Player of the Week for last week’s play and today was named Western Conference Player of the Month for the month of July. The team is playing well, guards Lindsay Whalen and Anna Cruz are back healthy, guard Renee Montgomery and center Sylvia Fowles are fitting in nicely and the feeling around Minnesota is electric. Fans are excited and ready to see another championship run in Minnesota, so they took to Twitter to share such excitement and I scoured the Twittersphere looking for the absolute best ones. Here are the top tweets from this week’s action.
I can't think of a better way to end my trip to Minneapolis than watching @minnesotalynx get the dub on their home court! #621 #RoarWithUs

In what has become something of a Monday habit, the WNBA has made Maya Moore the Western Conference player of the week yet again.
