Chicago Maintains Their Buffer
The Lynx would love for Chicago to drop a game. Holding on to the No. 5 seed, the Sky are two full games ahead of Minnesota and just barely staying out of the extremely tight race between the Mercury, Storm and Lynx. However, it didn’t happen on Wednesday night with Chicago taking care of the Liberty 101-92 behind 22 points from Allie Quigley.
While New York is doing a good job developing talent and preparing for the future, they haven’t been able to put many wins together. That’s just fine for the Lynx—the fewer teams remain in the playoff hunt the better.
