Wow what a week for the Minnesota Lynx. It seemed as though it would be a quiet week here in Minnesota because of the All-Star break, but the Lynx started the second half with quite a few fireworks. The blockbuster trade for Chicago Sky center Sylvia Fowles that sent center Damiris Dantas and forward Reshanda Gray to Atlanta and Dream center Erika de Souza to the Sky has been making waves throughout the league since it happened and has seemingly made most Lynx fans forget about the heartbreaking overtime loss that Minnesota suffered last Wednesday.

Actually, let’s be honest, Maya Moore made everyone forget about the loss on Saturday afternoon. Moore was the lone Lynx representative in Connecticut at the All-Star Game (guards Lindsay Whalen and Seimone Augustus were voted in as well but could not play due to injuries) and she did not disappoint.

Moore dropped 30 points on the Eastern Conference team, an All-Star Game record, and led the Western Conference to a 117-112 win while grabbing All-Star Game MVP honors.
