It’s Tuesday. It’s time for tweets; the tops tweets at that. It has been an exciting week for the Minnesota Lynx, and one full of victories. It began last Tuesday when the Lynx went to Connecticut and beat the Sun 85-79; great start. The Lynx then faced the Chicago Sky in the friendly confines of the Target Center. The Sky entered the game riding a four-game winning streak and the Lynx quickly ended that streak, beating the Sky handily 84-66; even better. Finally, they faced off against the Shock on Sunday afternoon down in Tulsa (which by the way, was anyone else aware the Shock were reportedly being moved to Dallas? Crazy!). After a slow start in the first half, the Lynx, more specifically Maya Moore, caught fire. Moore scored 30 points in the second half (a franchise record) and led the Lynx to a 79-72 victory over the Shock; absolutely fantastic! Oh, and that doesn’t even mention the fact that Moore and guard Seimone Augustus were named starters for the All-Star game in Connecticut. Unfortunately Augustus will not play due to injury, but Moore will be there to represent the Lynx and represent them well.
