PREVIEW: Minnesota Takes On Dallas After Break
After a few days off, the Minnesota Lynx (7-3) are set to take on the Dallas Wings (4-7) in Bradenton, Fla. on Wednesday night.
Minnesota is coming off of a 94-64 win against New York Liberty on Saturday, where forward Napheesa Collier led the team with a double-double of 26 points and 13 rebounds. Crystal Dangerfield added 22 points in the victory. The Lynx have been playing without veteran center Sylvia Fowles after she injured her calf in the team’s loss versus the Las Vegas Aces last Wednesday.
Dallas defeated the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday night in a close 95-89 competition. Second-year guard Arike Ogunbowale had a whopping 33 points, two points shy of her career-high. Wings forward Allisha Gray contributed 20 points and seven rebounds to the team’s victory.
Last year Minnesota went 2-1 against Dallas, their single loss against the Wings ended a 12-game winning streak against Dallas for Minnesota.
