Lynx Look To Bounce Back Versus Mystics

The Minnesota Lynx (5-2) meet the 2019 WNBA Champion Washington Mystics (3-4) on Tuesday night.

Minnesota is looking to bounce back after a 97-81 loss against the Los Angeles Sparks on Sunday as leading scorer Sylvia Fowles was sidelined with a calf injury. Despite the defeat, rookie guard Crystal Dangerfield poured in a game-high of 29 points on 9-of-17. Minnesota forward Damiris Dantas added 15 points and seven rebounds in the loss.

Washington is on a four-game losing streak after a 91-84 loss against the Indiana Fever on Sunday night. 2019 Finals MVP Emma Meesseman, led the team with a game-high 19 points, while forward Tianna Hawkins recorded a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Washington swept last year’s three-game set after the Lynx had won six of the previous seven regular-season meetings.
