The Minnesota Lynx are definitely glad to be home again. They returned home on Sunday night to an energetic and raucous Target Center crowd of over 9,000 fans and sent them all home happy after defeating the Phoenix Mercury 71-61.

With the win, the Lynx have clinched home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs and moved their magic number to clinch the Western Conference to just two.

It was a tight game and one that relied heavily on the respective team’s defenses, but, in the end, the Lynx were able to shut Phoenix down in the second half, holding them to just 22 points in the half; the number looks even more impressive when it’s noted that the Lynx gave up 20 points to Phoenix in the first quarter alone.

There were many great moments and highlights from the game and some of them are captured here with this game’s photo gallery.
