Alissa Pili Visits Prairie Island Indian Community
The Lynx Basketball Academy hosted a clinic with Alissa Pili on August 5th at Prairie Island Indian Community for 30 youth basketball players. Alissa coached youth through skills and drills and inspired them to keep playing the sport they love.

On August 13th, youth from Urban Ventures were invited to get new gear for the school year at DICK’S Sporting Goods alongside Diamond Miller, Natisha Hiedeman, and Courtney Williams. The players helped them pick out new shoes and clothes, ensuring they go back to school feeling confident.

Jr. Lynx Dream Team
On June 16th, the Minnesota Lynx signed 12 new players from Special Olympics Minnesota’s Unified Program adding them to the Jr. Lynx Dream Team, presented by UnitedHealthcare. These 12 Special Olympics players signed their contracts, received their very own jerseys and then joined the entire Lynx roster for practice where they were paired with players going through drills and fun games on the court.
