United States Earns 50th Consecutive Olympic Win

The United States won its 50th consecutive Olympic game early Tuesday morning in Tokyo with an 81-72 victory over Nigeria. Minnesota Lynx center Sylvia Fowles played 11 minutes, scoring nine points on an efficient 4-of-6 shooting from the field. Fowles grabbed five rebounds in the victory.
Lynx forward Napheesa Collier played two minutes in her Olympic debut.
The United States continues play in Group B with a matchup versus host nation Japan, Thursday at 11:40PM Central.
