With the Minnesota Lynx and the Los Angeles Sparks set to kick-of their respective playoff runs tomorrow night against one another, nothing is certain heading into the game other than the fact that both teams are very talented and both will play their hearts out.

The Lynx won the regular season series against the Sparks 3-1 and, despite winning the first two match-ups by an average of 10.5 points, since getting forward Candace Parker back, the Sparks have been a completely different and much more difficult team to play against.

The two clubs have taken similar paths to the playoffs this season. They have both dealt with various injuries to key players throughout the season and both have gone through tough stretches of games that have tested their teams and, in the end, made them a lot better.
