Sylvia Fowles Moves To 20th On WNBA All-Time Scoring List

Lynx center Sylvia Fowles needed just five points on Wednesday night in New York to pass Taj McWilliams-Franklin for 20th on the WNBA’s all-time scoring list.

Fowles ended up with 16 points, and now has 5,024 career points. She’s in sole possession of No. 20 on the all-time scoring list, but she’s not done moving on up.

That mark puts her in striking distance of Tangela Smith, who sits at 19th with 5,048 points. That’s a gap of just 24 points.

We could see that happen by the end of the week. The Lynx host the Connecticut Sun on Friday and the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday.
