Last week, Lynx center Sylvia Fowles moved to No. 20 on the WNBA’s all-time scoring list.

The climbing continued for Fowles on Sunday night against the Aces. Fowles needed just seven points to pass Tangela Smith for 19th with 5,048.

Fowles did that in the fourth quarter.

Next up is Candace Parker, who sits in 18th place with 5,113 points. Parker has yet to play this season for the Sparks with a left hamstring injury. In 17th is Swin Cash with 5,119 points.

Fowles is averaging 15.1 points per game and assuming Parker doesn’t return, Fowles is projected to pass both players in five games.

The next opportunity for Fowles to continue to chip at this list comes Saturday at home against the Liberty. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. on NBA TV, Fox Sports North and 106.1 BOB FM. You can get tickets here.
