The Minnesota Lynx (9-15) close out the 6-game homestand against the Dallas Wings (10-13) on Thursday night.
The Minnesota Lynx are now on a three-game win streak after defeating the Phoenix Mercury for the third time this season, 118-107. Aerial Powers, the reigning Western Conference Player of the Week, had a career-high night scoring 35 points and grabbing 13 boards in the double overtime win. Along with Powers, Sylvia Fowles and Jessica Shepard both recorded double-doubles, marking the first time in franchise history that three players recorded double-doubles in the same game.
Dallas is coming off a loss against the Storm in Seattle, 83-74. Teaira McCowan scored a team-high 18 points along with 10 rebounds while Arike Ogunbowale finished with 12 points.
This is the third meeting between the two teams, each winning a game apiece. Last time the Wings were at Target Center, the Lynx won 92-64 with Mariah Jefferson recording the first triple-double in Lynx history.
