Returning home from a quick trip to New York City, the Minnesota Lynx (0-2) return home Thursday evening to welcome the Seattle Storm (1-1) in a 2020 WNBA Semifinals re-match.
Thursday’s contest counts toward the 2021 Commissioner’s Cup standings.
Minnesota was beaten on Tuesday by the New York Liberty, 86-75, despite 26 points and 11 rebounds from Sylvia Fowles. Kayla McBride added 16 points in the road defeat.
The Storm split their first two games versus the Las Vegas Aces to open 2021, most recently losing their home opener, 96-80, on Tuesday. Breanna Stewart is averaging 20.1 points on 48% shooting to go with 8.8 rebounds per game to begin the season.
Thursday’s matchup is available on NBATV. Tipoff is set for 7PM Central.
