The Minnesota Lynx defeated the San Antonio Stars tonight 83-76 and, in doing so, clinched their fifth-consecutive playoff berth. The Stars were actually up by 11 points at halftime, but something was said in the locker room at half and it worked. Magnificently. The Lynx came out and outscored the Stars 30-13 in the third quarter and carried that huge momentum with them through the rest of the game. There were so many incredible plays that had Target Center the loudest it has been all season long. Here are some of the very best photos from tonight’s come from behind win.

It is only right to lead-off with a truly spectacular picture. Lynx forward Maya Moore dropped home the alley-oop after a great setup from guard Lindsay Whalen. Moore finished with 32 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals to lead her team to a win and a playoff berth.

Lynx guard Lindsay Whalen had a solid game, finishing with seven points and nine assists. Whalen also became just the third player in WNBA history with 2,000+ assists tonight, joining guards Sue Bird and Ticha Penicheiro

Stars guard Jia Perkins did her best to get her team a win but couldn’t quite do enough. Perkins finished with 15 points, four assists and three steals.

Stars forward Sophia Malcolm-Young had a solid game, notching a double-double and finishing with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Stars guard Danielle Robinson fell just short of a double-double tonight, finishing with nine points and nine assists..

Lynx center Sylvia Fowles played great late once again, helping fuel the Lynx to a win and a playoff berth. Fowles finished with 16 points and four rebounds, including seven points in the third quarter.

Stars guard Kayla McBride had a spectacular first half, scoring 15 points, but was held rather quiet in the second half. McBride finished with a team-high 24 points.

Forward Danielle Adams sparked the Stars, coming off the bench to score 10 points and grab four rebounds in just 15 minutes of play.

Lynx guard Anna Cruz was critical to Minnesota’s win once again, providing great plays on both ends of the floor. Cruz finished with 11 points, six rebounds and two steals.

Lynx forward Rebekkah Brunson had a Brunson-like night, scoring just four points but grabbing seven rebounds and playing fantastic defense.
