Minnesota Lynx Waive Forward Jillian Alleyne and Guard Carlie Wagner

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has waived forward Jillian Alleyne and guard Carlie Wagner. With the move, the Lynx training camp roster stands at 12 players.

Alleyne, a 6-3 forward from the University of Oregon, was drafted by Phoenix in the 2nd round (20th overall) of the 2016 WNBA Draft before being signed by the Lynx on May 5, 2018. She collected four points and four rebounds in Minnesota’s 87-58 victory vs. the Chicago Sky on May 12.

Wagner, a 5-10 guard from the University of Minnesota, was selected by the Lynx as the 36th overall pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft. In two preseason appearances for the Lynx, she recorded four points on 2-of-4 shooting in 25 minutes of play.
