Minnesota Looks To Continue Streak Versus Atlanta

The streaking Minnesota Lynx (9-3) meet the Atlanta Dream (2-11) on the hardwood Sunday afternoon in Bradenton, Fla.

Minnesota has the momentum of a three-game winning streak following Friday’s 90-80 victory over the Phoenix Mercury. Lynx forward Napheesa Collier led the team with 20 points and nine rebounds, and a career-high six assists. Her frontcourt mate Damiris Dantas, and guard Crystal Dangerfield each had 19 points.

The Atlanta Dream takes the floor this afternoon after a close 93-85 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks in overtime on Friday night. Atlanta forward Glory Johnson came off the bench and scored a game-high 23 points for the Dream. The Dream has been without star rookie guard Chennedy Carter after injuring her ankle during a competition on August 11.

The Minnesota Lynx went 2-1 against the Atlanta Dream last year and have won three of their past six meetings.
