Lynx Look To Earn W In Game Three Vs. Storm
The Minnesota Lynx meet the Seattle Storm for Game Three of the best-of-five WNBA Semifinals on Sunday afternoon at IMG Academy. Seattle leads the series, 2-0.
In Game Two, Seattle controlled much of the game, despite the Lynx outscoring the Storm 29-22 in the third quarter. Minnesota’s standout performer was Damiris Dantas who had a game-high 23 points and seven rebounds in the loss. Minnesota played a majority of the first half without captain Napheesa Collier after being whistled for three foul early in the action.
Storm guard Jewell Loyd contributed 20 points and five rebounds to her team’s victory. Although Seattle out-shot Minnesota from the field, 50%-40%, the Lynx were able to cash more threes with 46% to 32% advantage over Seattle from long distance.
A win for Seattle over the Lynx would advance the Storm to the WNBA Finals.
