One game down, four more to go.

Game One of the best-of-five WNBA Semifinals between the fourth-seeded Minnesota Lynx and No. 2 seed Seattle Storm ended with a Storm win on Tuesday night following Alysha Clark’s putback as time expired. Closing a neck-and-neck fourth quarter, Clark threw the ball up with 0.2 seconds in the game, giving Seattle the 88-86 victory and series lead at 1-0.

Minnesota’s shining star of the game was none other than Napheesa Collier. Collier scored a game-high 25 points to go with nine rebounds and a franchise-record six blocks, three of which came against Breanna Stewart. Stewart finished the game with a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds despite shooting only 7-of-20 from the field.

Much of Game One was a back-and-forth affair, but a Seattle run in the second and third quarters provided a blow to Minnesota’s upset efforts. Despite trailing by double figures in the second half, the Lynx were able to catch up in the fourth thanks to the efforts of Collier and Odyssey Sims.

Thursday’s Game Two matchup tips off at 6:30PM Central on ESPN2.
