Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine Team Up with Lynx by Providing Tickets for Tuesday’s Game 2 vs. Indiana Fever

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine of the Minnesota Timberwolves have secured 1,000 tickets for Game 2 of the WNBA Finals on Tuesday, October 6 (7 p.m. CT tip) at Target Center. Beginning Monday at 8 a.m., the first 500 fans that log on to www.lynxbasketball.com will have the opportunity to obtain the seats compliments of Wiggin and LaVine; limit two per customer.

Currently 0-1 in the series with Indiana, the Lynx fell to the Fever, 69-75, on Sunday’s Game 1 despite 27 points and 12 rebounds from Maya Moore as well as 21 points and 11 rebounds from Sylvia Fowles. Briann January lead the Fever in Game 1 with 19 points, followed by Marissa Coleman with 15 points. Tuesday night’s Game 2 will be televised on ESPN2.

The Lynx (22-12) finished the regular season with the second-best overall record in the league, securing homecourt advantage throughout the WNBA playoffs. The Lynx have put together 127 regular season wins since 2011, which is the second-most-prolific five-year haul in the WNBA history (Los Angeles, 130 games from 2000-04). This season marks the fifth consecutive season the Lynx put together 20+ wins, which is the second longest such stretch in WNBA history (Los Angeles – 6, 1999-2004).
