Marney Gellner – Television Play-By-Play Announcer

For the eighth consecutive season, Marney Gellner will serve as the television play-by-play announcer during Fox Sports North’s 11 telecasts in 2017.
Gellner joined FOX Sports North in October 2002 as the pregame show host and courtside reporter for the network’s Minnesota Timberwolves telecasts. Gellner is also a sideline reporter and pregame/postgame host for an assortment of different Minnesota teams.
Gellner started her career as a weekend sports anchor/sports reporter for KXMBTV in Bismarck, ND in 1996. She held the same position at WDAZ-TV in Grand Forks, ND from 1997-99, and at WISC-TV in Madison, WI from 1999-2002.
Gellner is a North Dakota native who graduated from Bishop Ryan High School in 1992, and the University of Mary in 1996, as well as earning a Master’s Degree in Communications from North Dakota State in 2012. Gellner currently lives with her husband, Matt, and two children in Carver, MN.

Lea B. Olsen – Television Color Analyst

Olsen begins her ninth year as the Lynx television color analyst for Fox Sports North. Olsen previously served as the Wolves sideline reporter on KSTC broadcasts. Olsen also spent seasons working on ESPN’s WNBA broadcasts. In addition, Olsen is the television analyst for the Minnesota State Girls High School Basketball Tournament and the host for the Minnesota Boys High School Basketball Tournament.
A former basketball player and tri-captain for the Golden Gophers, Olsen received the Patty Berg Award for Academics as well as the FastBreak Award and Coaches Award for her effort both on and off the court. She graduated with a B.A. in journalism and mass communications from the University of Minnesota in 1990.
A native Minnesotan, Olsen attended Minneapolis South High School and played one year of basketball earning all-city and all-conference honors while leading the team in rebounding. Olsen currently resides in southwest Minneapolis with her husband Elliot and their children, Jada and Will.
