Smith Connects on 500th Three-Pointer Of Her Professional Career

Smith, who has a total of 319 three-point field goals in 137 WNBA games, has recorded 502 three-pointers in her professional career. She connected on 183 three-point field goals in two-plus seasons with the Columbus Quest of the American Basketball League (1996-97 through 1998-99).
The 5-11 guard is the WNBA's all-time three-point leader. On June 14, Smith tied WNBA single-game records for three-pointers in a game (seven) and a half (five) at Seattle. On June 10 at Los Angeles, Smith became the first WNBA player to reach 300 three-point field goals. She set the league's single-season three-point field goal record with 88 in 2000.
Smith is the all-time leader in points scored in the history of women's professional basketball, with 3,893 points.
