It’s been quite a season overseas for Temi Fagbenle.

Fagbenle has had a phenomenal season in the BLK (Polish league) which culminated in her being named the regular season MVP over the weekend.

The Lynx forward averaged 14.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks per game in 24 contests. She led CCC Polkowice to a league-leading record of 22-2. Her team is the favorite in the playoffs which start on Tuesday. Last year Fagbenle won the BLK Finals MVP award and she’ll be a contender for that award again if CCC Polkowice makes it that far.

Of the 13 BLK coaches that voted for the MVP award, six had Fagbenle on their ballots. She received two first place votes and four second-place votes. Fagbenle’s CCC Polkowice teammate and fellow WNBA player Tiffany Hayes was also in the running for the award.
