Sylvia Fowles Injury Update

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx today announced that after further evaluation in Bradenton, Fla. by the Lynx medical staff, revealed that Lynx center Sylvia Fowles has been diagnosed with a right calf strain. Fowles will be sidelined indefinitely and further updates as to her progress will be issued when more information becomes available.
The injury occurred during last night’s 87–77 loss to the Las Vegas Aces.
In her 13th WNBA season, Fowles is averaging 14.6 points on 60.9% shooting, 9.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 24.1 minutes per game this season.
