After coming back from a severe ankle injury that ended her 2018 season, Danielle Robinson came back in 2019 looking strong and confident. She was that same speedy point guard that we have grown to love over the years.

Robinson averaged the most points she has since 2014, the most assists since 2015 and tied a career-high in rebounds.

After making three All-Star games from 2013-15, Robinson is still very much improving on her game at age 30.

A great example of that is Robinson extending her range to the 3-point line. Robinson only made nine of 41 attempts on the season, but she came into the season making just three. Of course, 22 percent from deep isn’t great, but with Robinson’s speed, the fact that she’s somewhat of a threat shooting the ball really opens up the rest of her game.

I would imagine she’d come into the 2020 season with an ever better-looking shot considering she’ll have an offseason to work on her game rather than rehab.
