Roster Review | Bridget Carleton

With the 2021 WNBA season in the books, Bridget Carleton completed her second full season with the Minnesota Lynx.

In 2020, the Canadian’s confidence bloomed on the court – starting in more than half of her appearances for the Minnesota Lynx. In 2021, No. 6’s confidence on the court elevated, and with it, Carleton once again was a source of consistency offensively and defensively for Minnesota.

During the 2021 season, Carleton played in all 32 regular season games, and started in 10 contests. The Canadian forward was on the floor for an average of 19.8 minutes per game, posting 4.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per contest.

Carleton’s highest scoring game came on May 28th as the Lynx faced the Seattle Storm, tallying a season-high 12 points in the game.

In addition to her impressive play on the court for the Lynx, this July, Carleton joined Lynx teammate Natalie Achonwa on Team Canada and represented her country in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics – her first Olympics appearance.

A consistent playmaker that got things done on both ends of the hardwood, the best years are undoubtedly ahead for Carleton.
