The Minnesota Lynx (10-17) take on the Connecticut Sun (17-9) on Friday night at Target Center. 

Minnesota is coming off a loss against the Mystics in Washington D.C. on Sunday, 70-57. Kayla McBride led the Lynx in scoring with 16 points while teammate Aerial Powers added 11 points.  

Connecticut hosted New York on Tuesday and defeated the Liberty, 82-63. Brionna Jones scored a season-high-tying 21 points and Alyssa Thomas contributed 18 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, and six steals in the victory. 

This is the first meeting between the two teams, with the second meeting scheduled for Sunday afternoon. The third and final meeting will be the last regular-season game of the season on August 14 in Connecticut.

Lynx fans will have the opportunity to bid on signed game-issued jerseys, exclusive fan experiences, Mystery Boxes and more to benefit the Fastbreak Foundation. Inclusive of all four franchises, the Timberwolves, Lynx, Iowa Wolves and T-Wolves Gaming, the Fastbreak Foundation provides local support to area nonprofits.

Bidding begins tomorrow, Friday, July 22 at 9:00 a.m. CT at www.lynxbasketball.com/auction and will close at the conclusion (final buzzer) of Friday’s game vs. the Connecticut Sun (tipoff at 7:00 p.m. CT).
