The Minnesota Lynx (1-4) return to action following a four-day break to welcome the Atlanta Dream (4-2) to Target Center Friday night. The matchup is the first of two meetings between the sides this weekend in the Twin Cities.

Minnesota earned its first win of 2021 Sunday evening, beating the Connecticut Sun, 79-74, in an overtime thriller at Target Center. Sylvia Fowles led the Lynx with 24 points and nine rebounds. Clutch down the stretch, Layshia Clarendon scored 12 points in their team debut.

The Dream last played on Saturday, defeating the New York Liberty on the road in overtime, 90-87. Courtney Williams scored 31 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the victory, while Chennedy Carter, Elizabeth Williams, and Tiffany Hayes scored 12 points each at New York.
