The Minnesota Lynx (6-14) face the Las Vegas Aces (14-5) in a Commissioner’s Cup Matchup on Friday night at Target Center.
Minnesota is coming off a big 92-64 victory over the Dallas Wings on Tuesday night. Lynx guard Moriah Jefferson became the first player in franchise history to record a triple-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Fellow guard Aerial Powers led the team in scoring with 20 points.
Las Vegas fell to the Seattle Storm on Wednesday night, 88-78. Aces center A’ja Wilson had a double-double in the game with 17 points and 16 rebounds, while teammate and guard Kelsey Plum had 16 points.
This is the third meeting between the two teams, with Las Vegas leading the series 2-0. The Lynx and Aces will meet again on Sunday, July 3rd at Target Center.
