Riding five straight wins, the Minnesota Lynx (10-7) head to the desert on a heater to visit the Las Vegas Aces (14-5) for a Commissioner’s Cup matchup Friday night. The Lynx topped the Aces, 90-89, in overtime on June 25 at Target Center led by Sylvia Fowles’ 30 points and 14 rebounds.

Minnesota guard Kayla McBride makes her first return to Vegas after spending the first six seasons of her career with the franchise. The three-time WNBA All-Star has averaged 25 points per game on a total of 11-of-18 shooting from three-point range over her past three games. Forward Napheesa Collier leads the Lynx this season, averaging 17.9 points per game.

Reigning WNBA Most Valuable Player A’ja Wilson is top five in the league in scoring, averaging 19.6 points per game for the Aces in 2021. Liz Cambage adds average of 14.6 points and 8.9 rebounds.
