Minnesota Lynx to Play Two 2025 Preseason Games Against Chicago
MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team will play two 2025 preseason games in May against the Chicago Sky.
The Lynx will visit the Sky for the first game on Tuesday, May 6 at 6:00 p.m. CT at Wintrust Arena in Chicago before returning to Minneapolis for a second game on Saturday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. CT at Target Center. This game will be open to the general public. Ticketing information to come.
This marks the third year in a row the two teams will face each other in preseason contests. Last preseason, Napheesa Collier and Courtney Williams each scored 17 points, leading Minnesota to an 81-92 win over Chicago at Target Center. In 2023, the Lynx and Sky met in the preseason at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto for the first-ever WNBA game in Canada. Minnesota dropped that game, 82-74.
The Lynx will tip off the 2025 season in Dallas against the Wings and the 2025 WNBA No. 1 Draft Pick on Friday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m. CT. Minnesota will host its home opener against the Wings on Wednesday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. CT at Target Center.
