MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The WNBA announced this afternoon that Lynx forward Napheesa Collier was voted to the pool of reserve players for AT&T WNBA All-Star 2023 by WNBA head coaches. Collier will be making her third All-Star appearance and becomes the seventh Lynx player to be named an All-Star three or more times. She joins Seimone Augustus (8x), Maya Moore (6x), Rebekkah Brunson (5x), Sylvia Fowles (5x), Lindsay Whalen (5x) and Katie Smith (4x).

In her fifth season, Collier is averaging a career-high 22.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.7 steals and a career-high-tying 1.3 blocks per game. Collier’s 22.5 ppg ranks second in the WNBA and ranks fifth in steals per game. Thursday night’s performance (31 points, eight rebounds, five assists and six blocks) marks only the second time in WNBA history that a player finished a game with 30+ points/5+ rebounds/5+ assists/5+ blocks. Through 15 games, Collier has tallied 336 points, 116 rebounds, 38 assists and 20 blocks. She’s currently shooting a team-high 49.2% from the field, a team-high 34.6% from the three-point range and a career-high 87.9% from the free throw line.

During the month of June, Collier has led the Lynx to a 6-4 record and has averaged 25.3 points on 52.0% shooting, 8.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. Her 25.3 points per game in June was the fourth-highest monthly scoring average by a Lynx player. Along with her historic performance at Seattle Thursday night, the Jefferson City, Mo native led the way in the 104-93 win on June 27 vs. Seattle. She finished with a career-high 33 points and 10 rebounds becoming the fourth Lynx player to record 30+ points/10+ rebounds in a game, joining Fowles (2x; MR: June 25, 2021 vs. Las Vegas), Moore (5x; MR: July 19, 2015 at Tulsa) and Aerial Powers (July 12, 2022 vs. Phoenix).

The 16th WNBA All-Star Game will take place in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 15 at the Michelob ULTRA ARENA. ABC will televise the game live at 7:00 p.m. CT.
