Following a season-opening four-game losing streak to begin the 2021 WNBA schedule, the Minnesota Lynx have reeled off three consecutive victories while playing their best basketball to date.
Though the recent winning streak has re-energized the Lynx, it’s evident that the team has yet to reach its peak potential.
“I do think that this is a glimpse [of what’s to come],” said Lynx Head Coach and General Manager Cheryl Reeve
Missing key rotation pieces throughout the season, with the most recent being an injury to guard Aerial Powers, Minnesota hasn’t been able to build chemistry to its fullest ability.
Despite that, the team’s recent play is promising for both fans and players alike, showcasing the team’s resilience in high adversity situations.
“When adversity hit, we responded, and this is just our response,” shared guard Kayla McBride following Sunday’s win.
