Though the 2020 season ended just less than a month ago, overseas action is already in full swing for a handful of Minnesota Lynx players.
Leading the way in Hungary, Lynx forward Erica McCall averaged 17.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game on a staggering 81% shooting from the field last week for KSC Szekszárd. On Wednesday, McCall scored 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting to help her side over MTK Budapest, 81-75. The Stanford product followed that performance with 21 points on 8-of-9 FG to lift KSC Szekszárd over Aluinvent DVTK, 67-57, on Sunday.
Elsewhere in Europe, Cecilia Zandalasini scored 13 points to help Fenerbahçe over Mersin, while Mikiah Herbert Harrigan’s Bellonna Kayseri fell to Adana. Meanwhile, Bridget Carleton arrived in France over the weekend.
