Lynx Meet Atlanta In Return

WNBA basketball returns to play following two days of action in the aftermath of the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, WI on Sunday.

The Minnesota Lynx (9-4) meet the Atlanta Dream (3-11) on the hardwood Friday night in Bradenton, Fla.

Minnesota’s last game was against tonight’s opponent, where they lost in a close 78-75 battle. Although Minnesota came up short, Lynx captain Napheesa Collier had a game-high 18 points with eight rebounds, while guard Lexie Brown added 17 points in the game.

Atlanta forward Monique Billings and guard Betnijah Laney both contributed to Atlanta’s win by earning double-doubles. Billings put up 16 points to go with 13 rebounds, while Laney also had 16 points to pair with 10 assists in the game.
