Lynx Look To Stay Hot Against Aces
The Minnesota Lynx (6-2) are looking to stay hot against the Las Vegas Aces (6-2) on Thursday night.
Minnesota posted a 68-48 win against the Washington Mystics on Tuesday, putting them back on track after losing against the Los Angeles Sparks over the weekend. Lynx veteran center Sylvia Fowles tallied her fourth double-double of the season with 16 points and 13 rebounds in Tuesday’s victory, while Rachel Banham was the spark the Lynx needed off the bench, recording 10 points, three rebounds.
Las Vegas is riding a five-game winning streak after defeating the Indiana Fever, 98-79, on Tuesday. Aces forward Angel McCoughtry had a game-high 20 points, while forward A’ja Wilson recorded a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds.
The Lynx went 2-1 against the Aces last year. Thursday’s game marks the return of 2019 WNBA All-Star Odyssey Sims to the Minnesota backcourt following the birth of her son, Jaiden, in April.
