Lynx Highlight Pride Month Featuring a Celebration of the LGTBQ+ Community on June 21st Pride Night

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx will celebrate Pride Night on Saturday, June 21 when the team hosts the Los Angeles Sparks, tipoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CT. The annual night will include in-arena entertainment and recognition of individuals and partners who are dedicated to advocating and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.
“While we celebrate our LGBTQ+ players, staff, fans and community year-round, we are extremely excited to highlight our Lynx Pride Night game on June 21, along with our longtime participation in the Twin Cities Pride Festival and Parade,” said Lynx President of Business Operations Carley Knox. “The Minnesota Lynx prides ourselves on creating an open and inclusive environment for all LGBTQ+ fans, while continuing to advocate for the rights of this community.”
In celebration of Pride Night, a limited-edition Lynx Pride t-shirt and Lynx Pride hat designed by Lynx graphic designer and Lynx Employee Resource Group, “Powered by Pride” member, KK Bush, will be available for purchase in the Lynx Team Store, a Fanatics experience, outside Section 136 at Saturday’s game.

Lynx Pride Night | June 21
Pride Night Friendship Bracelet Giveaway: The first 6,000 fans in attendance will receive a Pride Night Friendship Bracelet.
Pride Pregame Party: Join Lynx fans for a Pride pregame party at Cowboy Jack’s from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come downtown early. Guests can enjoy food and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey drink specials. The event is open to the public.
Peau De Loup: The Minnesota Lynx are excited to feature a clothing line in partnership with Peau De Loup throughout the season that celebrates inclusion, fit and self-expression. The exclusive Leaguewear™ limited edition collection is available in-arena at Target Center.
In-game Entertainment: One Voice Mixed Choir will perform the national anthem, and halftime will feature Pride Dance Party with DJ Izzie P.
In-game Recognition: A community gift will be presented to Twin Cities Pride, a Minnesota Fastbreak Foundation “Starting Five” grantee. Twin Cities Pride Executive Director Andi Otto will accept the gift on Twin Cities Pride’s behalf.
Inspiring Women: As part of the Lynx “Women of Inspiration” series presented by Bon Iver / 2 A Billion, the team will recognize Jess Pierce, Program Director at QUEERSPACE collective and CEO of Zwazo Tech. She consults with leaders and organizations to transform social services through relationships, accountability and community-driven solutions.
Twin Cities Pride | June 28-29
Twin Cities Pride Festival and Twin Cities Pride Parade: Longtime supporters of Twin Cities Pride since the team’s inception, fans can visit the Lynx and Timberwolves activation space in the Sports Field at the Pride Festival in Loring Park.
This year, Lynx legends and recently named 2025 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame honoree Sylvia Fowles and 2013 WNBA champion Janel McCarville, along with Knox will participate in the Twin Cities Pride Parade on Sunday, June 29 (parade runs 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. CT). The Twin Cities Pride Parade is the third largest Pride parade in the country.
The Lynx will spotlight Fowles and McCarville at the June 29 game vs. Connecticut with tipoff scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CT.
