Karima Christmas-Kelly Injury Update

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx announced that an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) taken at Mayo Clinic in Minneapolis revealed Lynx forward Karima Christmas-Kelly sustained an injury to her right knee. Christmas-Kelly will have surgery on Tuesday, July 2 by Lynx Head Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Nancy Cummings. She will miss the remainder of the season and further updates as to her progress will be issued when more information becomes available.

In her first season with the Lynx, the eight-year veteran out of Duke University appeared in six games averaging 2.7 points, 0.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists per contest.
