Fowles, Brunson Throw Out First Pitch At Twins Game

Sylvia Fowles and Rebekkah Brunson turned in their basketball’s for baseball’s on Thursday night in Minneapolis.
Fowles and Brunson both made an appearance at Target Field on Thursday to throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Minnesota Twins’ game against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
The two Lynx starters each took the mound before the game, throwing to Twins catcher Chris Gimenez.
The Twins showed support to Fowles and Brunson in their pursuit of making it to the 2017 WNBA All-Star Game on July 22 in Seattle.
Voting for the All-Star Game concludes at will conclude at 8 p.m. CT on Thursday, July 6. The All-Star Game starters will be announced on July 11, with the reserves being announced on July 18.
