In today’s Flashback Friday, we take a look back at Cheryl Reeve’s head coaching career with the Minnesota Lynx.

Reeve began her coaching career as an assistant with La Salle, George Washington, Indiana State, the Charlotte Sting, the Cleveland Rockers and the Detroit Shock, before securing her first head coaching position in the WNBA with Minnesota in 2010.

And since Reeve took over at the helm of the Lynx, she has helped build a dynasty.

In her seven seasons with Minnesota, the Lynx have reached the playoffs six out of seven years and have played in the WNBA Finals five times.

Oh, and she has led the Lynx to three WNBA Championships, the only three titles in team history.

Throughout her head coaching career, Reeve has held a record of 168-70 (70.6 percent).

Reeve is set to start her eighth season with the Lynx when Minnesota kicks off the 2017 WNBA season at 6 p.m. May 14 against the Chicago Sky at Xcel Energy Center.
