ALLEYNE OUT FOR SEASON
Oregon senior forward Jillian Alleyne suffered a torn ACL in practice last week and will miss the remainder of the 2015-16 season, head coach Kelly Graves announced Feb. 26. The All-American’s incredible Oregon career comes to a close. “It is tough to see such a good person have to deal with such a difficult injury,” Graves said. “Jillian has had one of the most remarkable careers in Pac-12 history and I’m sad to see it cut short. With her strong faith and work ethic, however, I know she will recover and go on to a long and successful professional career.”

RECORD BOOKS
• Alleyne ranks second all-time at Oregon with 2,151 points scored. She jumped Bev Smith for second on Feb. 12 against Utah. Alison Lang holds the record with 2,252.
• Alleyne’s 29 double-doubles as a junior set both the UO and Pac-12 single-season records.
• Until posting six rebounds in a loss at Oregon State on Jan. 8, Alleyne had a double-double in 29 straight games, breaking her own Pac-12 and UO record of 21 straight games. It is the third longest career streak in NCAA history, behind Oklahoma’s Courtney

“Jillian was born to rebound. She really was,” Graves said. “She has an amazing nose for the ball. She’s a great teammates and hard worker, everything you want in your star player”
-Head Coach Kelly Graves
