Collier Ties Career-High, Fowles Moves Up Scoring List In Win At LA

• Napheesa Collier lead all scorers with a game-high and career-high-tying 27 points, marking her fifth 20+ point game of the season. She shot 11-of-17 from the field and recorded seven rebounds, two assists and two steals.
• Layshia Clarendon finished with 14 points, connecting on 4-of-6 from the field, a game-high eight assists and three rebounds. This marks his third consecutive game with at least eight assists and her ninth 10+ point game.
• Sylvia Fowles registered 10 points, seven rebounds, two steals and three blocks. This marks her sixth game this season with at least three blocks and her 16th contest with at least 10 points.
• With Fowles’ sixth point of the night (collected in the first quarter), she moved to 14th all-time on the WNBA franchise points leaderboard, passing Angel McCoughtry (5,785).
• From the bench, Bridget Carleton tallied 10 points, shooting 4-of-8 from the field in 16:34 minutes of play.
• Jessica Shepard recorded a season-high seven rebounds, five points and five assists in just over 13 minutes of play from the bench.

• Minnesota extended their win streak to seven games, the largest current streak in the WNBA, moving their record to 12-7 before heading into the Olympic Break. According to Across the Timeline, the Lynx seven-game win streak is the 12th in-season win streak of seven or more games in franchise history. The last time Minnesota won seven contests in a row within a season was in 2018.
• The final 25-point margin represents Minnesota’s biggest win ever in Los Angeles and the first road win against the Sparks since a 77-75 triumph on Sept.6, 2016 which snaps the Lynx five-game regular season losing streak in Los Angeles. The victory also matches the second-largest win against the Sparks overall. The Lynx beat Los Angeles 114-71 on May 31, 2006 at Target Center.
