MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The four-time WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx announced that 106.1 BOB FM will return as the team’s flagship station for the 13th consecutive season and broadcast all 34 regular season games and potential postseason games. BOB FM will also cover the 2018 WNBA All-Star Game when it takes place on Saturday, July 28 at Target Center.
2018 Minnesota Sports Broadcaster of the Year John Focke will return for his sixth season as the team’s play-by-play announcer. For the first time, the station will broadcast a 20-minute pregame show, featuring studio host Cal Soderquist.
In addition, the games can be heard on the Lynx Radio Network, distributed through Learfield Communications, which includes radio stations throughout the Upper Midwest.
