All-Star Memories | Brunson Flexes Her Rebounding Muscles

Rebekkah Brunson is the WNBA’s all-time leading rebounder.

We know it’s her thing.

They Lynx had creative ways on how to get Brunson into the 2013 All-Star Game (Seimone Augustus is the best).

While that video helped, Brunson clearly deserved to be in the game. In 2013, she averaged 10.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.

That’s what it was no surprise when she hauled in  game-high 11 rebounds in the 2013 All-Star Game. Brunson also added 11 points, shooting an efficient 4-for-8 from the field. Brunson and Candace Parker were the only two players to finish with a double-double in the game. She helped lead the West to a 102-98 win.

Brunson started, along with teammates Maya Moore and Seimone Augustus. Lindsay Whalen came off the bench.

That marked Brunson’s third All-Star appearance. She made her fourth appearance in 2017.

The All-Star Game will be held on July 28, 2018 at Target Center for the first time in league history. Tickets are available here.
