In her 14th season in the WNBA, Rebekkah Brunson has continued to improve and expand her game this season, while reaching some impressive milestones along the way.

Those are just a few reasons why Rebekkah Brunson deserves your vote for the 2017 WNBA All-Star Game on July 22 in Seattle.

One drastic improvement Brunson has displayed so far this season includes her three-point shooting, among many other things. Brunson, who in the past wasn’t really known to step behind the arc in her career, is shooting a career-high 43.5 percent from three this season.

In 13 games, Brunson is averaging 10.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists and one steal per game. Her biggest jump statistically, outside of her three-point shooting, is scoring. Her 10.6 points per game has increased from 7.4 per game in 2016.

“This is a player that has literally worked for everything that she has earned in her career. Nothing was given to her,” Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve said of Brunson. “She has just evolved. . . She turned 35 this year and she still wants to learn new things, she wants to add to her game. She just works, works, works.”

In two months to begin the year, Brunson has reached a handful of milestones as well.

Earlier in the season, she became the fifth player in WNBA history to record 3,000 rebounds in her career. She also surpassed the 10,000-minute mark in just over 400 games, and moved up to fifth on the all-time Lynx scoring leaderboard.

On Friday night, Brunson added to the list, recording her 3,079 career rebound, surpassing Tina Thompson (3,070) for third on the WNBA’s all-time rebounding list. She now only trails Lisa Leslie (3,307) and Tamika Catchings (3,316) for the most rebounds in WNBA history.

Brunson has certainly had her impact on the Lynx so far this season. And that’s why she deserves your vote to get into the 2017 WNBA All-Star Game in Seattle.

Voting for the All-Star Game ends at 8 p.m. CT on July 6. To see the early return voting results, which were released on Thursday, click here.
