Madi Schiller

The 2025 season will be Schiller’s third with the Minnesota Lynx, and first as a Player Personnel Manager. Schiller has served as a data scientist the last two seasons for Minnesota, helping the team to a historic WNBA Finals run. Before coming to the Lynx, she worked with the Phoenix Suns as their basketball research and strategy analyst intern. Throughout her career with the Suns and now the Lynx, she has had the opportunity to pursue two of her greatest passions: sports and technology.

Prior to her time with the Suns, Schiller was a Pathways STEM student in the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) where she was a part of the FA/18 Tools Team. In this role she helped develop a software tool in Perl Script that was used by the software team to analyze assembly language. During her time at NAWCWD, she also was part of several projects, including the development of various software plugins, educational software teachings and a self-help training website for her colleagues and other engineers.

Schiller attended California State University East Bay and received her bachelor’s degree in computer science in 2020 and a master’s in business analytics in 2022. She played basketball for the Pioneers, coached by former Lynx player, Shanele Stires.
