Madi Schiller
The 2026 season will mark Schiller’s fourth with the Minnesota Lynx and her second as player personnel manager. Schiller previously served as a data scientist during her first two seasons with the organization, contributing to the team’s historic run to the 2024 WNBA Finals. Before joining the Lynx, she worked with the Phoenix Suns as a basketball research and strategy analyst intern. Across her roles with both the Suns and the Lynx, Schiller has been able to pursue two of her greatest professional passions: sports and technology.
Prior to her time with the Suns, Schiller was a Pathways STEM student within the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), where she was part of the FA/18 Tools Team. In this capacity, she helped develop a software tool used by engineering teams to analyze assembly language. Her work at NAWCWD also included contributing to the development of software plugins, creating educational software resources, and building a self-help training website for engineers and colleagues.
Schiller earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in business analytics from California State University East Bay. While at CSUEB, she played basketball for the Pioneers and was named both the CCAA Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Female Athlete of the Year during her final season.
