Grace Allen
The 2026 WNBA season will mark Grace Allen’s first year as a sports performance coordinator with the Minnesota Lynx. Allen joins the organization after serving as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
At Minnesota State Moorhead, Allen was responsible for designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for softball, women’s tennis, women’s golf and dance. She also assisted with the department’s internship program and contributed to ongoing staff development initiatives focused on research and continuing education.
Prior to her role at Minnesota State Moorhead, Allen completed strength and conditioning internships at both Minnesota State Moorhead and The Ohio State University Department of Athletics. At Ohio State, she assisted with daily training operations across multiple programs, including women’s rowing, soccer, volleyball, fencing, field hockey, softball and women’s gymnastics. She also gained experience utilizing sports science technology such as force plates, performance tracking systems and velocity-based training tools, while participating in continuing education programming and leading warm-up stations and supplemental training sessions.
Allen earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from North Dakota State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Educational Leadership at Minnesota State University Moorhead. She is a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
