Andrea Hayden

The 2025 season will be Hayden’s second season with the Lynx as the Sports Performance Coach. Previously, she held the same position at Stanford University where she led performance programs for women’s basketball and women’s golf. Before Stanford, Hayden made history with the Minnesota Twins, serving as the first female strength & conditioning coach in Major League Baseball.

A St. Louis, Missouri native, she holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Missouri Baptist University and a master’s degree in human performance from Lindenwood University, where she served as a strength & conditioning graduate assistant and eventually athletic performance coach. Hayden also worked as a strength & conditioning coach for USA Hockey development camps, at EXOS in San Diego and at the University of Louisville. She is a registered strength & conditioning coach (RSCC) by the National Strength & Conditioning Association.
