Andrea Hayden

The 2026 season will be Hayden’s third with the Minnesota Lynx as a sports performance coach. She previously held the same role at Stanford University, where she oversaw performance programs for women’s basketball and women’s golf teams. Before her time at Stanford, Hayden made history with the Minnesota Twins as the first female strength and conditioning coach in Major League Baseball.

A native of St. Louis, Mo., Hayden holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Missouri Baptist University and a master’s degree in human performance from Lindenwood University, where she served as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant before advancing to athletic performance coach. Her experience also includes working as a strength and conditioning coach for USA Hockey development camps, at EXOS in San Diego and at the University of Louisville. She is a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
